Who are we? Hi there My name is Charles Stockhill, one of the UK's award-winning decorators, specialising in home renovation.
For the last 25 years I have worked in the building trade doing decorating, tiling and joinery, covering all aspects of decorating tasks and home projects. From being a young cheeky kid on site making the brews with a broomstick in my hand, to working in posh hotels on multiple seven-figure contracts for large construction firms. Throughout the years, I have gained a vast amount of expertise from over1000s of jobs, each one unique from the next.
I've met so many people from various walks of life over the years, all with different needs, styles, and paints. It's safe to say I've had my fair share of spills and splashes in this time and having to do it all over again too!
I've had people say they want to do it themselves but don't know what to do, or that they thought about hiring a decorator but just couldn't afford it or they want to learn and have a go themselves. Most people take pride in decorating their home and others want to take it up as a career. I've pretty much come across it all in my time.

As people have become more aware of my skills and abilities in recent years, and as with any job you naturally grow into it, my philosophy has always been the same, ''let's do it right the first time''. In 2022, I was awarded the top-three decorator status in the north of the country. Suddenly I was the face of the decorating trade in my area and people began to come to me with lots of decorating issues.
