---
3. Who Can Purchase a Membership
You must be legally capable of entering into a contract to purchase a subscription.
If you are purchasing the membership for a child or another person, you are responsible for ensuring that the person using the content does so appropriately and safely.
---
4. Creating an Account
Access to the members-only areas requires a customer account and an active subscription.
You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information when creating your account and purchasing a subscription.
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure.
You must notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed by someone else without your permission.
---
5. Membership Is Personal to You
Your membership is for your personal use.
You must not:
- Share your login details with another person.
- Allow another person to use your membership.
- Give non-members access to members-only content.
- Copy or redistribute course content.
- Sell, transfer or commercially exploit your membership.
- Upload members-only content to another website, social media platform, file-sharing service or other location.
- Record, reproduce or distribute course videos or written materials without our written permission.
If you wish to use any of the course material commercially, you must obtain our written permission beforehand.
---
6. Subscription
You Missed a Bit is provided through a recurring subscription.
The subscription price and billing period will be clearly displayed before you complete your purchase.
Your subscription provides access to the members-only content available as part of the membership.
We may add new content, guides, videos, projects and other resources during your membership.
Your subscription does not give you ownership of the course content. It gives you a personal right to access and use the content for your own educational purposes while your membership remains active.
---
7. Subscription Renewal
Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel it before the next renewal payment is due.
The applicable renewal price will be shown before you purchase the subscription.
You can cancel your subscription at any time using the cancellation facilities provided through your account.
Cancellation will prevent future recurring payments from being taken.
We will not deliberately make cancellation more difficult than necessary.
---
8. Subscription Price
The current subscription price will be displayed on the website before purchase.
If the subscription price changes in the future, the new price will not be applied retrospectively to a payment that has already been made.
Where required by law, we will provide appropriate notice of any price change before it affects a future renewal.
You will have the opportunity to cancel your subscription before a new price is charged.
---
9. Payment
Payments are processed through the payment facilities provided through our website and relevant payment providers.
You authorise the relevant payment provider to collect the subscription payments you have agreed to.
If a payment fails, we may temporarily restrict access to the membership until the payment issue has been resolved.
We do not intentionally store your full payment card details ourselves.
Payment information may be processed by Wix and/or the relevant payment provider in accordance with their own terms and privacy policies.
---
10. Immediate Access to Digital Content
The You Missed a Bit membership provides immediate access to digital content following successful payment.
By purchasing the membership, you are requesting that access to the digital content begins immediately rather than waiting until the end of any cancellation period.
Before access to the digital content begins, where required by law, you will be asked to:
1. expressly agree to the immediate supply of the digital content; and
2. acknowledge that once the digital content has been supplied, you may lose your statutory 14-day cancellation right in relation to that digital content.
This acknowledgement will be obtained through the purchasing process where required.
We will also provide confirmation of your contract and the relevant information in a form that you can retain for future reference.
UK rules specifically require this acknowledgement for certain digital content supplied immediately after purchase.
---
11. Cancellation
You can cancel your recurring subscription at any time.
Cancellation will stop future subscription payments from being taken.
Unless required otherwise by law, cancelling a subscription does not automatically entitle you to a refund for a subscription period that has already been paid for.
Depending on the cancellation arrangements shown at the time of purchase, you may continue to have access to the membership until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions removes or restricts any statutory cancellation rights that apply to you.
---
12. Refunds and Consumer Rights
Because the You Missed a Bit membership provides immediate access to substantial digital content, we do not generally provide refunds simply because a customer changes their mind after the digital content has been supplied in accordance with the customer's express request and acknowledgement.
However, this does not remove any statutory rights you have under UK consumer law.
If the digital content is faulty, does not conform to the contract, is not as described, or we otherwise fail to meet our legal obligations, you may have legal remedies available to you.
If you believe there is a problem with your membership or digital content, please contact us and explain the problem so that we can investigate and put things right where appropriate.
We will not use these Terms & Conditions to exclude or reduce rights that cannot legally be excluded or reduced.
---

Always follow the manufacturer's instructions for tools, ladders, steps, paints, chemicals, equipment and other products.
If you are unsure whether a task is safe or suitable for you, stop work and obtain appropriate professional advice.

14. Ladders, Steps and Working at Height
Particular care must be taken when working at height.
If you choose to use steps, ladders, platforms or other access equipment, you are responsible for ensuring that:

15. Your Responsibility for Your Own Work
Every property and decorating project is different.
You are responsible for deciding whether a particular method, material, tool or technique is appropriate for your circumstances.
This includes considering:

- The condition of surfaces
- Previous decorating work
- The suitability of materials
- The suitability of tools and equipment
- Your own skills and experience
- Environmental conditions
- Manufacturer's instructions
- Any relevant safety requirements
Where specialist work is required, you should use an appropriately qualified professional.
This includes, where applicable, electrical, gas, structural, asbestos-related or other specialist work.
---
16. No Guarantee of Identical Results
The course is based on extensive practical decorating experience.
However, decorating results can vary from project to project.
Results may be affected by:
- Surface condition
- Previous work
- Materials
- Products
- Tools
- Preparation
- Temperature
- Humidity
- Application technique
- Individual skill
- Other conditions at the property
We therefore cannot guarantee that following a particular technique will produce an identical result in every situation.

This includes:

You must not reproduce, copy, publish, distribute, sell, licence, commercially exploit or make available to another person any members-only content without our written permission.
---
18. Downloading and Recording Content
Unless we expressly provide a download facility, members must not download, copy, screen-record, reproduce or otherwise capture members-only videos or other course material for redistribution or permanent storage outside the membership.
You must not use recording or copying methods to provide access to the course to people who have not purchased a membership.
---
19. Course Content May Change
We are continually developing You Missed a Bit.
We may add, update, improve, replace or amend individual pieces of course content.
This may include new videos, written guides, projects, techniques, templates and other resources.
We may also remove or amend individual pieces of content where reasonably necessary.
We will continue to provide the core membership service described when you purchase your subscription.
We will not use this provision to remove statutory rights or make a significant contractual change unfairly.

However, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access at all times.
Temporary interruptions may occur because of:
- Maintenance

- Circumstances beyond our reasonable control
Where reasonably possible, we will take reasonable steps to restore the service.
---
21. Third-Party Products and Services
The course may refer to or demonstrate products, tools, paints, equipment or other materials supplied by third parties.
A reference to a particular product does not mean that the product is suitable for every person or every project.
Always check the manufacturer's instructions, warnings and safety information before using any product or equipment.
We are not responsible for the performance, availability, suitability or quality of third-party products or services.
---
22. Links to Other Websites
Our website may contain links to third-party websites.
These links may be provided for information or convenience.
We are not responsible for the content, availability, security or privacy practices of third-party websites.
You should review the relevant third party's own terms and privacy information before using their services.

You Missed a Bit does not provide supervision of decorating work carried out by customers.
We cannot assess the specific circumstances of your property or the way in which you choose to carry out work.
Subject to your statutory rights, we are not responsible for loss or damage arising from your decision to undertake decorating work, use tools or equipment, or follow information from the course where the loss or damage was not caused by our breach of contract, negligence or other legal fault.
Nothing in this section is intended to remove or reduce your legal rights.
Consumer contracts must not contain terms that attempt to exclude liability for death or injury or take away statutory rights.

- A subscription payment remains unpaid.
- An account is being used fraudulently.
- Login details are being shared.
- Members-only content is being copied or redistributed.
- The membership is being used unlawfully.
- You seriously breach these Terms & Conditions.
Where appropriate, we will provide reasonable information about the reason for suspension or termination.
